Friday’s selection comes from Pimlico with the 88th Running of The Black-Eyed Susan. Normally the second leg of the filly Triple Crown, today’s contest is short on Kentucky Oaks players, as in none, but nevertheless long on talent. The Vanlandingham Stakes is the third on the card, and this mile and sixteenth main track contest is highlighted by the return to racing of multiple graded stakes winner Stay Thirsty.
