NTRA release 

Finalists for the 2009 Eclipse Awards will be announced on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010. 

The National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA), National Turf Writers Association (NTWA) and Daily Racing Form (DRF) vote on and present the Eclipse Awards in recognition of excellence in Thoroughbred racing. Winners in all categories will be announced at the 39th annual Eclipse Awards ceremony, to be held Monday, January 18 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The NTRA is a broad-based coalition of horse racing interests consisting of leading thoroughbred racetracks, owners, breeders, trainers and affiliated horse racing associations, charged with increasing the popularity of horse racing and improving economic conditions for industry participants.
