Aqueduct Racetrack – Saturday, March 15 – Race 8 – Cicada Stakes – post time: 4:43 p.m. EDT

Mamdooha (5): Kiaran McLaughlin has this one primed and ready for her comeback after about two months off. We all saw how talented she was in the fall breaking his maiden and going on to win two stakes. This is a soft spot to bring her back in and will be the springboard to the spring and summer sprints. Looking for a huge effort back off the layoff and will key him in exotics.

Red Minx (4): Has been very impressive winning both of her races over this track for Pletcher. Todd is not someone who will stick a horse in where he doesn’t think they can win. I’m looking for her to be on the lead and playing catch me if you can with Mamdooha with chance to pull the upset at a big number. He will keep improving and turn into a nice horse, lets get on him before this happens.

Miss Behavior (6): This is a race that fits her well last out running a Grade 3 going a mile did not fit her. She is a sprinter and should get a nice trip in here right off the leaders. Her trainer is not known for getting them ready off the layoff but she’s got a honest shot of winning here getting back to sprinting, keep an eye on her in the post parade to see if she looks fit.

Matt’s picks: 5-4-6
